Job Description:

• Responsibilities include outreach, leading peer skill attainment and support groups. Conducts computer labs at the peer recovery center, maintains the community resource file, provides peer coaching, and supports the peer leaders.


• Assists with recruitment of voluntary Recovery Peers and Advocates and provides mentoring and coordination of peer recovery services.


• Assist in accessing technology that brings together service availability and access information, along with educational resources for clients.


• Visit clients and families in public areas such as libraries, community centers, and/or churches to explain supportive services and resources available to persons needing special assistanc

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or experience equivalency.


• Experience in providing or facilitating services to persons in recovery is preferred.


• Persons in recovery must meet one (1) year sobriety requirement


• Current Texas driver s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 per year
