Senior Revenue Accountant
As our Senior Revenue Accountant at R1 RCM, will be responsible for assembling, consolidating, evaluating, interpreting and analyzing financial and accounting information. Reconciles and adjusts general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports. Alerts management to financial issues and inconsistencies and provides solution alternatives to moderately complex accounting problems. Generates planning templates for use in Financial Planning and Analysis; compiles and evaluates fluctuations in projections and provides to management for consideration.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, corporate accounting, fixed and intangible assets, accounting with/for foreign subsidiaries and acquisition accounting.
Every day you will:
Conducts moderately complex accounting activities and participates heavily in monthly close process.
Evaluates existing processes and reconciliations for improvement. Implements efficient solutions and necessary process changes as identified.
Works on smaller elements of large, complex accounting projects. Leads smaller, less-complex accounting projects.
Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
Works closely with company-wide departments to ensure accounting information is represented accurately and timely.
Exercises sound business acumen and judgment. Understands the financial operations of departments, divisions, and business units supported.
Works to ensure internal controls are executed in compliance with the Company’s SOX program.
To thrive in this role must possess:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience required, with public accounting experience preferred.
CPA, CMA, CIA, or master's degree preferred
