We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. This person will be joining an established company that will be rebranding. The individual will be an essential part of this rebrand by helping to set up a new technology development arm. This person will be responsible and assist with hiring a team of developers, and allocating resources, in a successful effort to build the platforms and create first-class technology solutions.You will communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you.

Activity and Accountability Overview

Application development, maintenance, and integration(s)

  • Effective project management lending to the successful development of key applications to be utilized in multiple industries with a wide array of integration potential through APIs.
  • Competent maintenance strategy development and implementation, to ensure uptime of application, and its functions - ultimately lending to user satisfaction and best-in-class dependability.

Client and Customer communications including

  • Effective contract negotiation, management, and adherence
  • Ensuring status reports are delivered promptly and accurately
  • Quality assurance, through effective collaboration with all key stakeholders
  • Effective collaboration to ensure client requirements are clearly defined and expectations met consistently

Liaising with the following to achieve division goals and objectives:

  • Executive team with a solutions-focused approach to various situations both regular and irregular
  • Client-designated contacts to ensure achievement of collective vision, goals, and objectives

Staff oversight, accountability, and delegation

  • Oversee division personnel in their day-to-day duties
  • Ensure accountability across internal and external personnel, with clearly defined expectations and performance metrics
  • Delegate tasks as required to appropriate members within division

Workflow management and training

  • Ensure efficient and consistent workflow by properly communicating, delegating, and training team members
  • Provide requested statuses and updates as directed by the Executive Team

Regulatory

  • Ensure division-wide adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensure division-wide adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure division-wide adherence and maintenance of developed budgets and expectations

  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
  • Help departments use technology profitably
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
