HR Office Clerk – Part-Time

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a new Part-Time HR Office Clerk to join our growing team in our Human Resources Office located in Salina, KS.

If you desire a flexible schedule, this could be the perfect job for you! This position works approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.

• 
  Assist recruiters with scheduling interviews, prepare interview itinerary, and schedule travel requirements for applicants as needed.
• 
  Assist recruiters in planning for job fairs and help with set up as needed.
• 
  Schedule new hire appointments to complete new hire paperwork and pre-employment testing.
• 
  Scan required documentation into ADP website, our Human Resource Information System.
• 
  Assist with filing confidential medical information in medical files and maintaining information in personnel files
• 
  Assist with mailings to include United Way forms, health insurance information, etc.
• 
  Transfer former employee files to upstairs storage room.
• 
  Prepare information for new hire orientation, including new hire packets, snacks, etc.
• 
  Prepare Welcome Bags for HR Generalists to take to Stay Interviews.
• 
  Coordinate training material with the copy center and schedule trainer hotel accommodations as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• 
  Strong computer skills including above average proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds up or down stairs
• 
  Ability to maintain confidential information
• 
  Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment
• 
  Self-motivated with a positive and results-driven attitude
