Job Overview/Job Brief



We are seeking an experienced and professional individual to join our team as Director or Vice President of Territory Sales in our Las Vegas Distribution Center (title commensurate with experience). This is a dynamic role where you will be a crucial part of our Sales Leadership Team and provide leadership and management for the Las Vegas and Southern Utah Sales Department. Lead activities to achieve revenue and margin goals through account acquisition, penetration, and retention and oversee training and development of the Sales team.

Responsibilities




  • Must establish and attain annual sales revenue and margin goals for the Las Vegas and Southern Utah Sales teams.

  • Develop, implement and execute growth strategy with the sales team for profitable customer acquisition, penetration, and retention while maintaining and growing margins.

  • Work with the DSM to focus on building DSR accountability concerning sales growth, account receivables, operational efficiency, effectiveness, and time management.

  • Lead and manage Regional Sales Manages in developing leadership skills and management competencies.

  • Execute exclusive brand sales strategy to achieve higher profitability and customer loyalty.

  • Know and understand the company’s strategic goals and ensure the sales team contributes to these goals’ success.

  • Perpetuate a culture of learning within the sales organization, with all team members participating in growth and training opportunities.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent preferred

  • 3 years in distribution sales management.

  • Proficient in networking, prospecting, and building relationships.

  • Proven track record in pursuing and closing new sales opportunities.

  • Possesses strong presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Capable of building strong relationships with people across organizations.

  • Experienced at quickly learning new products and applications.

  • Tactical and strategic thinker.

  • Proven analytical skills, including budgeting, margin management, expense management, and compensation

  • Self-motivated.

  • Expertise in excel, word, and PowerPoint.

  • Travel Required.



Preferred Qualifications




  • 2 years of food distribution experience
