Director of Marketing Communications
Job Description: Present GRT to the world through multiple communication channels to build our brand, enhance our reputation, promote our products, increase sales, and foster better relationships with our customers and future customers. Special marketing and sales projects that are needed for the growth and benefit of GRT.
Understanding GRT’s product features and markets is essential to fulfill this role, as is working well with other members of GRT’s team. Overseeing any related work that is “subcontracted” out of GRT or to other GRT team members.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Skills: Creative Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator); website design & integration (WIX, HTML, Embedding forms, videos); HUBSPOT CRM; SEMRush; InDesign (Document layout), Premiere (Video editing); Expertise in: MS Word, Excel; Google Analytics; AdWords; and SEO. LinkedIn Page management & posts.
Education and Experience: A degree in a related field (Marketing/Graphic Design) plus a minimum of 10 years of marketing and design experience in a technical industry, preferably Aerospace and Military.
Detailed Job Responsibilities
Website Development and Maintenance (Lead) – Develop and maintain GRT websites that are aesthetically pleasing, have a layout that is intuitive, properly promote GRT products, and provide training content that keeps GRT at the top of our field.
SEO (Lead) – Utilize SEO best practices to keep GRT at the top of organic searches for keywords important to our industry and products.
Website Analytics (Lead) – Ensure that we are tracking the correct data to provide insight into the effectiveness of our website as a marketing and training tool.
Marketing Collateral (Lead) – Design and keep up-to-date product datasheets, and marketing collateral.
Advertising (Lead) – Find appropriate advertising channels; develop a yearly advertising plan and budget; create or oversee the creative design of advertisement; and track the effectiveness of our ad spend. Ads include both print and digital platforms. Coordinate joint advertising and promotion with international partners.
Lead Nurturing (Team Lead) – Help define and implement lead nurturing workflows in HUBSPOT and communication to stay better connected with our customers and prospects.
Competitive Product Analysis (Team Lead) – Oversee the evaluation of GRT products against competitive products available around the world, provide two reports annually (May/November).
Trade Shows (Team Lead) – Help choose appropriate shows, prepare and ship booth exhibits, help staff booth, track leads from show, and follow up after show.
