Sr Credit Analyst  

Pay: $25 - $33 DOE

Hours: 7am - 4pm (flexible)

Monday to Friday

Job Description:

This person interacts with customers, sales support, revenue recognition, order management and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts. In addition, analyzes and reports on credit memos and write off activity, prepares detailed collections reports and cash collection forecasts on a monthly basis. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Involved with the day to day operations of the credit and collections functions and department staff of all divisions of company
• Make collection and payment reminders via phone calls with systematic approach for follow up
• Investigate, analyze and adjust when necessary customer debits and short payments
• Request proof of delivery statements to assist in obtaining customer payment
• Review and process credit memo and special billing requests
• Respond to customer account status inquiries from customer, sales, production, shipping              
• Collects and maintains accurate credit information. Reviews and verifies overdue accounts.
• Research, resolve and collect customer claims/chargebacks in conjunction with customer service
• Work with  sales workforce to verify customer creditworthiness and history
• Make credit hold decisions and take all appropriate actions to obtain payments, and/or to minimize bad debt, while maintaining a productive and mutually satisfactory relationship with the customer by conducting the following:
• Evaluates and suggests creditworthiness of prospects and customers to decrease financial risk to the organization.
• Update or change processes for collections and credit approval process
• Prepare and process daily receipts deposits
• Perform other duties as related to the job function as required
• Negotiate payment arrangements
