  Position:
  
  The Medical Coder will assign appropriate ICD 10 CM and/or CPT codes to patient records for Anesthesia. The Medical Coder will analyze, enter, and manipulate the database to confirm appropriate DRG assignments. Core Responsibilities:
• Assigned appropriate ICD-10 or CPT codes to patient records
• Meet productivity standards
• Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management
  
  Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional Coding Certification (CPC, CCA, CCS or CCS-P)
• A minimum of 2 years of Anesthesia coding experience with ICD-10 and CPT-4
• A minimum of 3 years of general work experience
• Knowledge of the medical coding process
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Organized and detail-oriented is critical
• Computer literate

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $52,900 - $91,920. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $46,000 $76,600. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $55,200 $91,920.
