A fantastic opportunity to join our growing sales team representing one of Orlando’s fasting growing and most popular tourist destinations. We are seeking a Director of Trade Sales to develop and deliver programs with our global travel trade partners.

We are seeking a travel and entertainment enthusiast with experience in hands-on management of travel providers, tour operators, OTA’s and receptive tour operators. You fully understand how these channels work and have experience putting together strategic plans across all of these outlets.

JOB PURPOSE: The Director of Trade Sales will have responsibilities related to the curation of our business relationships with third party clients and resellers globally. This role involves driving and measuring the results of both sales and marketing activations when executed through a contracted third party. The Director will ensure that a strategic growth plan is in place and being followed by all of our contracted clients. They will ensure that our brand and our business is always well represented and optimized for maximum performance.


· Identify clients' needs by listening and probing during discussions of their objectives and strategies

· Study the competitive environment and build knowledge of clients' business

· Reacts to change productively and handles other essential tasks as assigned all while working in a fast-paced environment

· Invest in a long-term commitment to team and business growth, all while supporting company goals and objectives

  • Maintain accurate CRM records for contacts, contracts, results and all other pertinent information within the system.
  • Monitor previous sales and forward-looking sales by client partner.
  • Think out of the box and find creative offers that preserve price integrity while at the same time provide an incentive to drive the business.
  • Focus on pre arrival commitment.
  • Ensure we stay top of mind with all partners throughout the year.
  • Manage a minimum of 4 quarterly meetings with all partners.
  • Collaborate with other tenants of ICON Park to create synergies.
  • Work internally as an advocate for trade partners and ensure that we are easy to work with.


  • Ability to speak other languages (Spanish, Portuguese) highly desirable.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally when required


· Strong consultative selling focus, with a track record of developing opportunities and closing business

· Strong business, communication, and presentation skills

· Organized with the ability to manage & track multiple priorities. Project / customer relationship management a strength

· Ability to collaborate effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals

· Strong knowledge of television, digital, OTT and travel/tourism industries

· Creative & strategic, with the ability to create best in class custom marketing solutions

· Must be able to work and thrive in a remote team environment. Ability to work effectively in a cross-discipline team, both as a leader and as a partner/collaborator.

· Must be a “people person” who is comfortable with a high volume of phone and webinar calls with C-level clientele and internal managers

· Excellent negotiating and closing skills with a proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales goals

· Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact successfully with clients and advertising agencies at all levels

  • Secure and leverage presence among all paid and owned-marketing efforts - including - but not limited to websites, email, digital, meta, search and social media.
  • Identify, develop, and gather research, trends and insights on competition, markets and segments to provide innovative recommendations to drive the evolution of the business. Includes competitive offers, marketing placements and campaigns, etc

· Bachelors' degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or hospitality management

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Willing to travel and attend trade shows and conferences
