GDIT is seeking a Senior Instructional System Designer for our Defense Division. You will design and develop curriculum and course materials in accordance with business requirements for participants and facilitators including: instruction, exercises, evaluations, activities, job aids and all other required materials.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Interact with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
Evaluate materials during development for instructional alignment and appropriate styles and specifications.
Manage a team of ISD experts to design and develop instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements.
Work closely with Program Manager, multimedia specialists, programmers, and other program experts.
Oversee the completion of specific programs and projects.
Oversees the technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Oversee the analysis of employee learning needs and subject matter expert partnership.
Oversee outlining tasks for the concept for course or curriculum, defining the needs for the course, the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches.
Oversee the development of learning solution documentation (e.g., storyboards, project schedules, video scripts, job aids, and courseware).
Oversee the development and monitoring metrics for evaluating training and development effectiveness.
Apply instructional design methodologies.
Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Serve as a technical team leader.
Coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Qualifications:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience developing or designing Instructional Systems
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills
Ability to attain a Secret Level clearance with the DoD
Preferred qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance or higher
Understands designing and developing USAF technical curriculum at all levels of interactivity
Familiar with online instructor-tutored and Artificial Intelligence (AI) proctored training
