Our client, a Nationwide Financial Lender in Southern CA is looking to hire a PERMANENT Senior BackEnd focused Full Stack developer to join their talented team of 15. responsible for helping design and develop a greenfield financial services platform to take the company ‘s service offerings to the next level. The platform is composed of front-end financial mobile application and a website written in Angular and React consuming .NET microservices in AWS RDS. You will be directly responsible for building the backend of this financial platform. The successful candidate will be a collaborative problem solver with a passion for building quality products with a sophisticated design. As a member of the development team, you will work closely with the business to architect and implement enterprise level software that puts the customer first. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and building quality products is essential.
Where You're Located 100% REMOTE / Nationwide- GC or USC (not able to offer sponsorship at this time)
Skills & qualifications:
7+ years full stack .Net developer experience, with primary role on the backend with .Net Core and Web API’s
Must have worked 3+ years within an AWS Cloud based/ .Net CORE, C#, Restful web API’s, Angular, SQL Server development tech stack environment for multiple different websites and applications. Some experience with a JavaScript framework like React.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
Familiarity with Docker containers.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Experience writing HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS.
Familiarity with continuous integration.
Experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Financial technology industry experience a plus
Must have strong communication skills as well as the ability to write clean and clear documentation. Able to clearly communicate with team and product group.
Always learning willing to learn and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where there are weekly deployments of new features and processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop software products and features from the ground up (presentation layer to data layer- you will focus on the Backend l75%)
Enhance and expand existing software platforms to meet the changing needs of the business and the industry
Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software using a cloud first approach in AWS
Collaborate with Stakeholders, Product Owners and fellow team members and front end Developers on and offshore, to develop solutions that delight end users and put the customer first
Build and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net Core code using a cloud first approach with AWS RDS.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devises solutions to these problems.
Build and optimize queries and stored procedures in SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with a team of on and offshore developers.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint plannings, backlog groomings and retrospectives during two-week sprints.
