Job Description OVERVIEW We're looking for a highly skilled Corporate Recruiter to recruit and fill key internal positions for Cogent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruiting for corporate staff including in the areas of: Sales, Business Development, Account Management, IT Instructors/Trainers and Leadership positions. This individual will have knowledge of screening, interviewing, hiring practices and have proven experience filling key internal positions. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE + Work closely with the Executive Vice President and Division Leader to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations + Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent + Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up + Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements RESPONSIBILITIES + Develop and release job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards + Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates + Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation + Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other candidate relationships + Follow up on interview process status and update records on our CRM + Proactively reach out to passive candidates via Linked In Recruiter and other key recruiting tools REQUIRED EDUCATION + Completed Bachelors'/Master's Degree (preferably with a combination of Computer Science and Business) REQUIRED SKILLS + 2+ years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter + Proven track record of filling Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Recruiting and Leadership positions + Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills + Motivated and passionate about finding the best candidates available in the market + Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search + Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems + Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc. + Experience utilizing Linked In Recruiter for proactive recruitment + Ability to travel as needed PREFERRED SKILLS + Experience working for an IT Services, IT Staffing or Management Consulting Firm as a Corporate Recruiter + Proficiency with content management systems + Experience developing recruiting strategies + Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or CRM's
