Job Description
- You will be a member of Zscaler s global network engineering team and will be responsible for deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record of operating enterprise or telecom data center networks, and is a creative thinker, self-starter, problem solver, learner, and is motivated by engineering excellence.
- 7+ years of overall Network Engineering experience.
- Experience in remote Data Centeroperations.
- 3-5 years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks.
- Hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting in both IPv4 and IPv6 for large scale Enterprise or Telecom networks.
- Deep knowledge of DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec protocols with hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Real life experience troubleshooting L2 and L3 networks
- Knowledge and experience in IP-packet analysis using WireShark.
- Knowledge and experience on Linux/Unix, and Network equipment and the functions they perform.
- Familiar with Unix Shell scripts. Python or Perl is a plus.
- Organizational skills and experience working with ticketing and inventory systems.
- CCNP, JNCIP related certification classes is a plus.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and changing priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
