Provider Coding Specialist

Codes all requested encounters using the most accurate and appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and E&M codes in accordance with CMS, CPT, ICD-10 guidelines as well as all state and federal regulations. Utilizes the CMS 1995 or 1997 documentation guidelines for Evaluation and Management (E&M) assignment as well as 2021 E&M guidelines for outpatient clinic and office visits Abstract key data required from the medical information consistent with official coding guidelines, other regulatory requirements and best practices. The coder will meet specified productivity and accuracy standards.
