About Our Client
This client is a chemical membrane start up dedicated to eliminating CO2 emissions from manufacturing processes. They are growing rapidly with their proprietary product and looking for experienced engineers.
Job Description
- The EHS Manager will enforce EHS policies and serve as a champion of the team's safety culture
- Coordinate to develop safety plans
- Ensure haz-mat material response plans are compliant and up to date
- Manage waste shipping and receiving processes
- Work with stakeholders to provide safety and environmental compliance history for audit requests
- Assist in expansion projects by communicating lab and prototyping space needs
- Maintain and schedule third party involvement in repaiers, cleaning, and other needs
- Ensure continuous improvement and operation of wet lab, prototyping, and office space.

The Successful Applicant
- 3+ years of lab management experience, wetlab and protospace
- B.S in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related work experience
- Experience with audits
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or
willingness to become CSP/CIH certified (company sponsored) - U.S. Work authorization is required for this role
