Providing a safe, healthy, consistent, positive, caring environment to children in your care, and develop parental rapport. The Childcare Provider must be professional, patient, dependable energetic, loving and possess the ability to communicate on each child's level and have a passion for childcare and making a difference in the lives of children. The hours of this role fluctuate, candidate must be willing and able to work in other areas of The Ranch.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Developmentally appropriate and play-based child interaction.
  • Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child.
  • Prepare meals and follow dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain daily open communication with parents.
  • Keep clear and correct reports and records regarding accidents, medication, and daily parent


reports.


  • Ensuring that a warm, high-quality learning environment is maintained.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Report any suspected abuse to supervisor.
  • Ensuring that a warm, high-quality learning environment is maintained.
  • Maintain a positive, safe and healthy environment.
  • Attend all staff meetings at The Ranch at Rock Creek.
  • Meet all applicable licensing/registration regulations.
  • Be a positive influence in the lives of children and their parents.


Education/Experience


  • A high school or equivalent education required
  • Previous childcare or educator experience
  • Comfortabie and experienced with all ages 0-12y
  • Willing to complete the required training & courses for childcare licensing (reimbursed for time and any expenses incurred)
  • Candidates will be required to go through the licensing process and state required training including:
  • Pass background check w fingerprints
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Updated immunization records
  • Complete 16 hours of approved training annually
  • Attend Basic Daycare Orientation within 60 days of hire
  • Complete STARS to Quality required trainings within 6 months of hire)

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position. Irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the fluctuation in business levels in the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of The Ranch. In addition, attendance is required at all scheduled training sessions and meetings.
