We are hiring for a highly motivatedAccountant IIwho will beresponsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information in a shared services environment.
This position is 75% remote and 25% in our Hoffman Estates HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in month end close and reporting process
Review ledger accounts, recommend and prepare adjusting journal entries
Perform account analysis and reconciliation
Prepare, record and analyze accounting transactions
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records
Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the month/quarter close process
Assist with internal control evaluations
Participate in the documentation and execution of accounting projects
Support various operational activities, audit deliverables, ad hoc projects or analyses as requested
Interact daily with accounting team and internal customers
Provide mentorship to team members
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent education
2-5 years of accounting experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working with ERP, Accounting and Reporting software.
Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounting Software
Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus.
