Remote Service Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The Remote Service Center Supervisor is a working service supervisor position. This position oversees other team members and works with area Sales Representative and headquarters to manage service jobs and product delivery.

Essential Functions:

· Work with customer, sales and warranty to service boat trailers.

· Obtain accurate measurements required to set up fixtures for new boat models.

· Maintain relationships with internal team as well as outside customers.

· Assist with organizing and managing deliveries to customers.

· Operate forklifts to move product.

· Receive incoming loads and assist in organizing to prepare for deliveries.

· Ensure payments are sent securely and on-time to corporate headquarters.

· Maintain a safe environment.

· All other tasks as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies:

· Must be able to work well in a team.

· Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.

· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials.

· Ability to operate smart phones and/or tablets.

· Willingness to work flexible hours.

· Mechanically inclined.

· Mig welding steel and aluminum preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: 1-3 year s working in a supervisor role with mechanic or service technician experience.

Computer Skills: Moderate

Certificates & Licenses: None.

Other Requirements:

· English is primary language.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in an open building/outdoor setting, in all weather conditions, including temperature extremes, during day and evening shifts. Work is often performed in an urgent manner with stressful situations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
