Project Investment Analyst

Vale Group has partnered with a company in the energy industry, based in the Coconut Grove, FL area, which is actively searching for an Investment Analyst with at least 1 year of relevant experience, for a fully on-site opportunity.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, pension fund, financial/management consulting, or transaction services. 

Investment Analyst / Offering full-compensation package - Competitive salary, bonus, healthcare, PTO, and 401k. 

Investment Analyst - Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience (private equity, corporate and/or banking preferred)


• Education, must have a Master’s degree in Engineering/Math/Finance or a related field


• Excellent financial modeling & valuation skills 


• Performing high level calculations


• Academic achievements from a top-tiered university  


• Skills required: Advanced Excel (VBA level)

Investment Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, analyzing, extracting data, researching for formal investor presentations


• Analyzing financial data, performing deep-dive analysis for prospectus


• Calculate various metrics such as NPV and IRR 


• Performing extensive research, aggregating data and preparing detailed reports and statements


• Create forward-looking reports


• Support special ad-hoc projects as needed
