How You'll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own
GDIT has provided EPA long-term mission support for over 40 years for numerous programs including EPA's Contract Laboratory Program, Superfund's Hazard Ranking System (HRS) and National Priorities List (NPL), and EPA's Scientific and Technical Support for the EPA Engineering and Analysis Division. GDIT is seeking a talented Environmental Analyst who is passionate about science and the environment. This individual must be motivated to directly impact some of GDIT's contracts with the EPA.
Activities that You will Support
This intern position may support tasks under several EPA contracts including data analysis (e.g., review of analytical data received by commercial analytical laboratories, reporting) and/or administrative (e.g., data entry, spreadsheet development) activities.
The Must-Haves
General knowledge of environmental science, biology, and/or chemistry and have taken courses towards a degree in chemistry, environmental science, or related degree. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated customer service experience. Successful track record of leadership in school/activities/internships.
What Will Make You a Stand-Out Candidate
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
