Position Summary

The Director of Sales will be responsible for the overall sales success of the brands under The Shipping Store umbrella. They will oversee all staff, processes, and procedures of the sales department. The Director of Sales will work with their team to acquire new clients, maximize profitability, and deliver one of a kind memorable experiences for our clients. They will develop and implement plans that will drive company profit and motivate the sales team. The Director of Sales is responsible for all reporting from the sales department and will be expected to present reporting regularly to their leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales and marketing, and they will also have experience in setting up or launching a department or brand. They will have had experience in director level sales management or equivalent, and will be a highly self-motivated individual. The ideal Director of Sales candidate will have a passion for building and perfecting processes and will be extremely detail-oriented. They should have a strong background in managing and coaching direct reports.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89120

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $75,000-$100,000 Dependent Upon Experience $150,000+ OTE

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental sales targets
  • Create and communicate goals and progress to goals to all departments
  • Create processes for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals to the executive team
  • Keep up with industry and market data that could affect sales strategy
  • Create reporting for executive team to help solicit feedback on alignment with company initiatives
  • Hire, coach, train, and develop a high performing sales team
  • Work directly with team of company directors to work through obstacles and come up with new and innovative plans for driving revenue
  • Conduct supply and demand research to determine product line values regularly
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of the B2B and wholesale sales department
  • Individual contributor component
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • 4+ Years experience as a Sales Director, Sales Manager or Similar
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • E-Commerce marketplaces, understanding sales processes and optimization
  • Lead Generation
  • Proficient to expert in Microsoft Office or Google equivalent programs (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Proven progressive history of sales management
