What You'll Do
As Content Marketing Manager at Kimpton, you'll be focused on driving growth by increasing brand awareness and generating demand for our hotels and restaurants.
We re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to conceptualize and create unique and effective content.
You ll generate all types of content, from thought website content, to product blog posts, social media posts, ads and sales enablement materials.
You ll also write compelling email and web copy, and help refine Kimpton s brand voice and tone.
Reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Projects
This position will be remote based and coordinating with the digital center of excellence and will provide digital marketing support all Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage content production, from idea to draft to design and publication+ Manage new website build outs from beginning to end+ Collaborate with sales and product marketing on sales enablement content including case studies, data-driven blog posts and PDFs, and educational content about our products+ Manage content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution which align with overall business and marketing objectives+ Maintain on-going communication with all relevant stakeholders regarding the status of active projects and provide feedback/metrics for completed projects+ Develop a thorough understanding of our target audience and buyer profiles as well as effective engagement strategies at each stage of the sales cycle+ Collaborate with the digital marketing team on content distribution and SEO+ Create and keep business listings current; Yelp, Opentable, Yext, Tripadvisor+ Help analyze content performance+ Well organized and creative, with a high sense of accountability and integrity.
+ 3+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a content marketing or writing role+ You re equally comfortable writing, developing new content ideas, and thinking about ways to promote our content+ Solid framework of concepts in overall digital media landscape+ You have a cross-functional mindset and experience collaborating with contributing writers, sales teams, and growth marketers+ Self-driven, passionate, and comfortable working with remote teams.+ Contribute to a unified brand point of view for hotels and restaurants+ Demonstrates curiosity and thirst for learning+ Knowledge of the most current marketing systems and tools, trends, and best practices to help guide clients to desired outcomesDifferences make a difference.
