What You'll Get to Do:




  • TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Makes travel arrangements.




  • CALENDAR: Schedules tentative appointments for approval by manager. May schedule group meetings at the direction of the manager.




  • CORRESPONDENCE: Prepares, edits and types routine and non-routine correspondence.




  • REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS: Compiles and updates standard reports. Creates ad-hoc reports. Prepares and creates presentation materials.




  • FILING: Establishes and maintains files and records.




  • OFFICE SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT: Arranges for the purchase of all office supplies and equipment. Operates and maintains a variety of equipment such as personal computer, photocopier, facsimile, calculator and telex.




  • INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS: Frequent internal and external interaction on wide variety of departmental, division, and corporate matters.




  • PROBLEM SOLVING: Responds to moderately complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions such as clarification of company policy and procedures.




  • SPECIAL PROJECTS: May participate in special projects, including coordination of meetings, seminars, trade shows, or employee activities.




  • ON-SITE SUPPORT: Helps coordinate and set up meeting rooms and event spaces during large events.



  • APPROVALS: Obtains signatures, maintains logs where necessary and ensures orderly flow of documents which require management authorization.


What You'll Bring:


Problem-Solving and Know-How:




  • High School diploma or equivalent or Business School Certificate preferred




  • 3-5 years secretarial or project coordination experience required



  • Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, data base and graphics skills


Communications:



  • Good written and oral communication skills are required
